Ulrik, a specialist within the fuel industry in New Zealand and Australia, brings over 19 years of experience within the commercial property industry from his time at Gull as Chief Operating Officer. He played a key role in the transformation of Gull from 3 fledgling outlets owned by the Rae family in 1999 into New Zealand’s largest independent fuel retailer with 80 sites at the end of 2017.

His experience and knowledge covers all aspects from strategic retail growth, client and project management, marketing strategies, site development as well as asset management.

Hayden brings over 20 years of experience within the commercial sector of Real Estate spreading across all main sectors of the market including agency, valuation, management and development. Hayden’s previous role managed a portfolio of property for Augusta Funds Management that was worth over $1.6 Billion.

Prior to this, Hayden studied Property at Massey University which lead him to a position at a Commercial and Industrial Agency leasing and selling property across Auckland. With his expertise he brings knowledge across both the New Zealand and Australian property market where he was MD of CBRE, in Melbourne for many years.

With over 8 years in management, Hamish has worked extensively across the commercial, industrial, retail and residential sectors of Real Estate.

Prior to joining Scarborough Group, Hamish managed a portfolio worth c.$400 million on behalf of Augusta Funds Management, including their core Industrial Fund assets and key retail centres.

Hamish brings a pragmatic approach to asset management and a strong ambassador of innovation and health & safety within the industry. Hamish was recognised by PINZ as the 2019 Runner up Young Property Manager of the Year and recipient of the Innovation Award within the management sector.

James has worked in the property industry for over 10 years gaining significant experience in property development and asset management, both in New Zealand and abroad.

He has a deep understanding of key stakeholder needs in the delivery of commercial projects and developments, and managing existing assets, enabling him to deliver quality end-to end outcomes.

James leverages his broad range of property experience and expertise to provide considered and outcome focused solutions to our clients.

Laura has over 7 years’ experience in Commercial Property and Asset Management and is a Chartered Commercial Property Surveyor (MRICS).  

Prior to Scarborough Group, Laura worked in the UK for a Blackstone owned, industrial/logistics landlord called Mileway. Laura managed 26 industrial estates on their behalf, totalling 137,000 sqm and implemented and oversaw $13M worth of capex and development projects.

Laura brings the commercial acumen to balance the needs of clients whilst understanding the importance of working with tenants and is an ambassador for incorporating sustainability into decision-making.

Niri has 10 years experience as an Accounting and Finance Specialist in the Construction Industry. Niri has a wide range of experience from commercial to residential development and now property management.

She has spent time overseas as well managed several teams, both experiences have allowed her to develop people management skills and makes her friendly and approachable.

With a bachelor of business majoring in finance and accounting from AUT her practical and commercial knowledge coupled with people skills makes her a valued member at Scarborough Group.

Suz is a chartered accountant, having specialised in real estate fund management for the last 7 years. She started her career at KPMG NZ, before moving to London to work at Goldman Sachs and then M7 Real Estate, a CRE fund manager.

Upon moving back to New Zealand, she took up the role as Head of Finance at Jasper Property during a significant period of growth in AUM from $25 million to over $300 million.

Suz uses her expert knowledge to support the Scarborough team and our clients in successfully managing their property investments.

After successfully completing his Bachelor of Business, majoring in Property at Massey University, Joey has joined the team at Scarborough Group, working closely with Hamish over the past 12 months.

Working across a number of different clients and property sectors is giving Joey a broad experience and skill set to succeed in the industry.

His strong desire to learn alongside his interpersonal skills makes him a key part of Scarborough Group's future

Harrison Stace gained a solid foundation in real estate market analysis during two years in CBRE’s research team, further to this he was awarded the CBRE Chris Barraclough Memorial Scholarship towards his studies including a Bachelor’s of Land and Property Management – Specialising in Urban Valuation and Finance.

Harrison's strong communication skills and proactive approach enable him to bridge the gap between property function and financial optimisation whilst maintaining positive relationships with tenants, contractors, property owners, and stakeholders. His resilience in handling challenges and dedication to continuous improvement contribute to his effectiveness as a property manager.
